Currency

The Netherlands is one of 17 countries which use the Euro in Europe. This is the symbol for the Euro €.
The exchange for one Canadian dollar to one Euro is:
$1   =
   0.77172
When going out to a restaurant you will notice that they include the tip in the bill you receive. If you desire to leave extra that is up to the customer. Also, when you are out shopping and you give your money to the cashier the cashier will round the money to the nearest  €0.05
Groceries are fairly high but are cheaper than most European countries
